Mère + Me respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and look after your information.

What we collect

When you sign up to our mailing list, book an event, join a community, or get in touch, we may collect your name, email address, and any information you choose to share with us.

How we use it

We use your information to send you the updates you have opted into, to manage your event bookings, to respond to your enquiries, and to keep you informed about Mère + Me. We will only ever send you what you have asked to receive.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use trusted third-party services such as Mailchimp for email and our booking provider for event tickets. These services process your data securely on our behalf.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data by emailing hello@mereandme.co.uk.

Impact monitoring

We ask everyone who books with us to complete a short, optional survey when they join, and again three months later. It helps us understand whether what we do is actually working.

The questions cover loneliness, wellbeing and social connection, and are drawn from the Office for National Statistics national indicators.

We also ask an optional set of questions about your postcode district, age, ethnicity, income, disability and household circumstances.

Some of this is special category data under UK GDPR. We collect it only with your explicit consent, given by ticking a box, and you can decline any or all of it without any effect on your booking.

Our lawful basis is consent for the survey data, and explicit consent for special category data.

We report this data only as anonymous aggregate totals. We never publish or share individual responses, and we suppress any category with fewer than five responses.

We keep survey data for six years and then delete it.

You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your responses at any time by emailing hello@mereandme.co.uk.
