Shakila founded Mère + Me after identifying a gap she had lived herself: the absence of structured community and support for women navigating early motherhood in London.
Before that, she spent years in senior commercial roles at Immediate Media, one of the UK's leading publishing groups, managing end to end campaigns across major consumer and parenting titles for some of the world's most recognised brands. She knows how brands think, how they buy, and what they look for. She knows how to build something with commercial rigour, and she knows how to do it in the reality of a full and demanding life.
She is not coaching from theory. She is coaching from experience, in the boardroom and in the thick of motherhood.
